an ecofascist blog has been gaining a lot of followers recently
the user captain-planet-official, who got popular from posts like this masking as environmental care (as most ecofascists do):
frequently slip in bits of white supremacist/racist/antisemitic commentary or ideals between posts, such as these:
or even the user outright requesting fashwave images from other fascists on here:
i’m not only worried about this for the sake of kicking weird fascist cunts like this off of the site, but also because of the fact that his entire persona has been attracting minors who don’t understand the undertone or even ecofascism itself. i’ve recently talked to one who had drawn fan art for the page! this isn’t good at all!
please spread this.
I found a few more on their blog :
Black, Jewish, or “normal”?
Also, if that’s not enough, they flat out admit they’re a fascist:
Quick tip: seaching someone’s blog for words like “jews, jewish, blacks, muslims, gay, nazis, fascism” etc can almost immediately give you posts with evidence of their beliefs.
Michelle Carragher’s blog includes instructions on how to create this dragon scale effect in fabric!
“For Sansa’s wedding dress the designer Michele Clapton wanted to have an embroidered band that wrapped around which symbolistically told Sansa’s life from the Tully and Stark beginnings to the entanglement with the Lannisters,” says Michelle, “The dress colour was still very much Sansa Stark and the embroidery had pale golden tones but woven through the story are ripe red pomegranates, the red colour symbolising the growing Lannister influence over her.
I have not watched this series but these costumes are incredible.
I have been waiting all of my life for a .gif set of this scene. This struck me so hard when I was younger.
Seriously. I didn’t quite understand as a kid because I too thought she was still so beautiful.
It’s so sad how cruel and shallow this world can be, and the horrible psychological damage they can inflict on people who had so much confidence and still possess potential for greatness.
Yet another example of how amazing this show was.
What makes this even more powerful is that Paige Monroe (Calendar Girl) is voiced by Sela Ward, a real-life model and actress who was infamously turned out of the Hollywood system for being ‘too old’. In 1995, even though she was a three years younger than Pierce Brosnan (then-Bond), she was turned down for a role in James Bond because "What we really want is Sela, but Sela ten years ago”. In response she made a documentary, The Changing Face of Beauty, about American obsession with youth and its effect on women. Then this episode came afterwards.
This wasn’t just a general message episode, this was a specific attack on the sexist Hollywod system by somebody who had been one of its victims.
